Kim Halfhill Named Baldrige Foundation 2024 Leadership Award Recipient

Kim Halfhill, founder of KH Consulting, has been named a recipient of the 2024 Baldrige Foundation Award for Leadership Excellence in the Community sector. The award recognizes leaders who exemplify the Baldrige values of performance excellence and who have made significant contributions to organizational and community success.

Halfhill was honored for her leadership and long-standing commitment to cross-sector collaboration and community improvement, including her work as community coach and process manager for Thrive Excelsior, a local coalition implementing the Communities of Resilience and Excellence (CORE) framework to improve quality of life and life expectancy in Excelsior Springs.

“It is an honor to be a recipient of the 2024 Baldrige Foundation Award for Leadership Excellence,” said Halfhill. “I am thrilled to receive this award alongside many amazing community leaders from across the country, including our own Molly McGovern. Although this award is being presented to Molly and me, it reflects the commitment of dozens of local leaders to achieving the primary goal of Thrive Excelsior — to improve the quality of life and life expectancy in our community. I consider it a privilege to be part of this journey.”

The Baldrige Foundation Awards for Leadership Excellence recognize individuals across business, government, nonprofit, health care, education, cybersecurity, and community sectors who demonstrate sustained leadership in advancing excellence and results.
